Get started with InboxIssue in 5 minutes
This guide will help you get up and running with InboxIssue quickly.
Getting Started
Create an Account
Visit app.inboxissue.com and click Sign Up to create your account. After signing up, verify your email address to activate your account.
Access the Dashboard
After logging in, you'll see the InboxIssue dashboard with:

Create Your First Test
Click New Spam Test on the dashboard and configure your test:
- Give your test a name (e.g., "Welcome Email Test")
- Select the provider types to test:
- Consumer - Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook.com, etc.
- Business - Office 365, Google Workspace
- Protected - Mimecast, Proofpoint, Barracuda
- Click Create Test
Send Your Test Email
After creating a test, you'll receive:
- A list of test email addresses to send to
- A tracking key to include in your email
Send your email to all the test addresses, including the tracking key somewhere in the body or subject line.
The tracking key helps InboxIssue identify which test the email belongs to. It looks like: inboxissue-12345-2024-01-15-inboxissue
View Results
Results typically arrive within 5-15 minutes. Check the test details page to see:

| Delivery status | Inbox, Spam, or Missing for each provider |
| Authentication | SPF, DKIM, DMARC results |
| Spam scores | Microsoft SCL/BCL, composite authentication |
| Header analysis | Detailed email header information |
